Canine Ultrasound Scanning
Here at Lakeview Canine Scanning & Services, we like to Ultrasound around day 30 after last mating has taken place. Personally I like to do the Scanning on days 33-35.
The Ultrasound Scanner is a great diagnostic tool to confirm pregnancy.
Whilst Ultrasound Scanning has the drawback of not being accurate to count puppies, I will indeed give a rough estimate on how many I can detect. But what Ultrasound Scanning can determine is heartbeats in the puppies.
